PROMOSOLV DR3/BO
is a non-flammable solvent-based cleaning fluid, dedicated for light-duty cleaning and particulates removal.
It has the same chemical properties as PROMOSOLV DR3 but with the additional benefit of having an ultra-low NVR. This makes it especially suitable for cleaning or rinsing of very sensitive applications like oxygen delivery systems and hard-disk manufacturing.
The very low surface tension enables penetration into tight or hard-to-reach spaces, ensuring a deep and thorough cleaning.
PROMOSOLV DR3/BO is compatible with all metals and alloys, including very sensitive ones. It has also good compatibility with most plastics & elastomers, however it is necessary to test before use.
PROMOSOLV DR3/BO has been approved by Boeing Space and meets the specification of NPFC – A-A-59150 Cleaning Compound, Solvent, Hydrofluoroether (HFE) and Boeing DPM 8853.
Typically, it can be used for oxygen tool cleaning, oxygen system gauge cleaning, oxygen storage and delivery systems, spacecraft oxygen system verification and cleaning, aviation and missile command applications, shipboard compressed air systems, deposition of lubricants and lubricant additives onto hard disk media, cleaning of head gimbal assemblies, particulate removal in high reliability devices, and particle counting equipment.
